My summer movie pick

Summer is here, the perfect time for some relaxation! after going to the beach or after finishing your summer job, everybody loves a good movie to kick the day off.

Here I’ll leave you a list of my favorite movies that for some reason remind me of summer. Some are a bit old, but for me they are classic and perfect to watch accompanied with friends, or by yourself.

- The parent trap (1961): Separated at birth, two girls in a summer camp discover that they are twins, and plan on reuniting their parents. The retro set and costumes bring all the summer vibes towards you.

- My girl (1991): Follow the life of Vada as she starts to grow up. Classic, beautiful movie staring Anna Chlumsky and Macaulay Culkin.

- Now and then (1995): Tells the story of 4 friends, since their growing up in their small town, until the present. Perfect to watch with your group of friends.

- The parent trap (1998): The remake of 1961. Annie and Hallie, discover in a summer camp that they are twins and plan a scheme to reunite their parents. Perfect if you are looking for a little childhood throwback.

- Little secrets (2001): While her friends are at camp, Emily practices violin for an audition and runs a funny business with neighbors.

- The sisterhood of the traveling pants (2005): 4 best friends, find a creative way to keep themselves connected, since life gets in between them. Another perfect movie to watch with your friends.

- Standing up (2013): Two kids in a summer camp find friendship because they are both played an ugly prank.
