Basic room decor ideas
Have you ever tried to decorate your room but you just don’t know what to do to it?
Well, I have some basic ideas of what you can do to make your room a little bit better.
Pictures
I have to say pictures are my favorite way to decorate my room, there’s a million things you can do with pictures. You can do something basic and put them on pretty frames, or look for different picture garlands or something similar and fill your room with pictures of your friends, family, pets, etc.
Fairy lights
I think some small lights are just one of the best ways to decorate, since they can cover a big space that looks pretty empty and make it look bright and full.
Posters
This might sound like something a little girl would decorate her room with, but I promise that maybe one or two posters of your favorite movie or artist can make your room look a little bit more fun. And you can even make them look a bit more formal by hanging them with an acrylic frame.
Calendar
A calendar might not be a fun or creative decoration but, it certainly is helpful and if you get to find a nice calendar that you like you can hang it in a small wall or fill an empty space that can’t have much done to it.
Paper decorations
I know there’s a lot of different paper decorations but that’s what makes it even better, there’s just a lot of options and sizes and colors that you just can’t go wrong with some paper decor.
Flowers
Lastly, some flowers or plants, either real or fake, are also one of my favorite ways to decorate my room, because they just add a more natural look to the room and they also make it look more colorful. You can either look for a not so bright plant or flower and decorate the pot with bright colors, or the other way around, just look for a simple pot and go ahead and buy some of the brightest ore colorful plants you want.
