Beach must-haves!
We've all been there traveling a long time to get to the nearest beach, just to realize that we missed something. It sucks. Don't worry! this next list has everything I consider an essential for the beach or a pool. Hope you find it helpful ;)
1. Hats and sunglasses
Sunglasses are harder to miss but hats are very important as well and very useful! Make sure to keep one close to you in case you want the sun out of your face.
2. Towels
Unless you are in a nice resort in where they bring a towel to you wherever you are, towels are vital. They are great for laying in the sun and drying you out.
3. Coverups
Absolutely vital for those moments where you don't want to put your clothes back on because you might still be wet or just because it's too hot, but you want to be covered up a little.

4. Tanning oils and sunscreen
Whether or not you are planning on baking under the sun or just to have fun you should be protected. Being exposed to the sun for long periods of time increases your risk of skin cancer.
5. Snaks and water
You need hydration when you are going to spend hours under the sun. And food is always a good idea.
6. Hair essentials
When you get out of the water you might want to brush your hair and maybe use some sea salt spray and some brands have released a lightening treatment that naturally lightens the hair.
7. Magazines or books
These are great to keep you entertained while you are laying under the sun or just hanging in the beach. Magazines are more disposable than books so it doesn't matter if they get wet or sand all over them, so this is something to keep in mind when choosing what to take to the beach.
8. Headphones or speakers
An essential for me. I would be careful with these just because come headphones/earphones or speakers can get damaged, so I would recommend buy some disposable ones or use some you don't mind damaging so you don't ruin your favorite ones.
